Yellowfin tuna (Thunnus albacares)

Tune female lays a million eggs per year. At the beginning,they feed  on plankton and then with smaller fish, crabs, squid and shellfish. The yearly growth of 60cm and can grow over 2m and get weigh over a 150kg.

It is a very fast and ravenous predator, that feeds with whole range of other fish even with its own little tunas.

The big tuna has onlyone natural enemy and it is a killer whale or orca.
This kind of tuna is one of the few warblooded fish, which enables exceptional works of muscle and achieve speed and to 80km/h.
Her body is solid when swimming so when swings  the tail have a greater effect on swimming. Because it’s constant movement, she’s consumers large quantities of oxygen, so that sets just the ecologically clean sea.
Commercial catch Yellowfin tune is not limited and the year of 2006. amounted  to 430.000 tons. Endangered species of tuna is her twin Bluefin tuna( Thunnus Thunnus), of which differs only by the visual dorsal and ventral fins.
